News on Your Fund Surrey Project Proposals

Thanks to Your Fund Surrey funding of £44,000 (with £5,509 contingency funding), plans for Limpsfield Way are well under way with the installation of the new ‘Rest and Play’ area. Located in a clearing south of the New Road car park, there is a newly constructed seating and play area for residents. This space now has a picnic table, three wooden benches and a variety of wooden play equipment for children.

In addition to this new area, there will also be an accessible path allowing access from the car park for both wheelchairs and buggies.

The Limpsfield Way circular walk is also nearing completion. This route, spanning Limpsfield to Limpsfield Chart, will be waymarked and have information boards with local historical facts. A cycle route is also planned to go alongside this, linking the village and Limpsfield Chart.
